Ingredients:
- Lemon, 2 sliced
- Sage leaves, 5-6
- Rosemary, dried- 2 tbsp
- Cinnamon sticks, 2
- Whole cloves, 1 teaspoon
- Water, 3-5 cups- replace as needed.
Instructions:
- Fill a medium-sized pot with 2-3 cups of water.
- Add the sliced orange, lemon, and lime to the pot.
- Add 5-6 fresh basil leaves to the pot.
- Add 2 cinnamon sticks, 1 teaspoon of whole cloves, and 1 bay leaf to the pot.
- Bring the water to a boil over high heat.
- Once the water comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer.
- As the water evaporates, you can add more water to keep the simmer pot going.
- Allow the simmer pot to simmer for as long as you like, adding more water and fresh ingredients as needed.
